I recently finished listening to the audiobook Mark Hollis: A Perfect Silence by Ben Wardle, and I really enjoyed it. Hearing about Mark Hollis and the way he approached making music was fascinating. He had such a unique and thoughtful way of working.
In the afterword, Ben Wardle includes a list of songs from a mixtape made by Hollis in 1980 and given to a young Gareth Jones, a tape op at the time.
